I did not work at 10 years at the same restaurant, but worked 3 years or more at each. The pay has never reflected how hard I bust my ass. Meanwhile the cost of living and housing continues to rise. I don’t care about being rich, I just want to feel comfortable and not always worrying about money. I'm always baffled when people have this idea that the US is the best country. They’ve had scheduled appointments for years at the DMV. We also split ours up into drivers license offices and then everything else. If you start making restrictions like "elderly only in the morning" then the voting lines would become even more chaotic.
