I did not work at 10 years at the same restaurant, but worked 3 years or more at each. The pay has never reflected how hard I bust my ass. Meanwhile the cost of living and housing continues to rise. I don’t care about being rich, I just want to feel comfortable and not always worrying about money. I'm always baffled when people have this idea that the US is the best country.
