 I appreciate this statement and I think it’s Happy Halloween 2020 Quarantine 2020 Shirt important for kids to have teachers who model these positions for them. I’ve never taught somewhere where. It's been comfortable having these positions in the classroom. I don’t keep my views a secret at all but I know I’m in the minority in the teachers' room. Last year one of my students came out as non-binary and changed their pronouns and their grandmother has told me that I’m the only teacher that made an effort to use the correct pronouns. I’m very thankful that I am able to be there for them but it makes me sad that I’m the only one.
