 I don't care for how profound the themes, ideas The Bible Way The Wrong Way The Bible Way Shirt and concepts that you explore and discuss throughout the book, or for how expertly crafted your world is if there isn't an engaging cast of characters and story. Those who value the former will love Dune. I'll be damned if that's not the best description ever. I dig the absurd dry humor but I guess I see how it could come off as plain obnoxious. I love both of these books but I think you’re right. Because they are so radically different I can see someone hating one but loving the other.I read the book having zero knowledge of who the author was or what the book was. I finished it in a few hours and enjoyed it.
